Heart and Soul Community Choir is an exciting new venture led by Jill Carr, an experienced singing group and singing workshop leader.  Jill's current groups include Sing and Swing and Shrewsbury Folk Ensemble.  She also runs regular confidence-building workshops.

The choir is a true community choir, open to all adults, regardless of age and ability.  There will be no daunting auditions and no need to read music - everyone is welcome, and teaching discs are provided. All you require is a love of singing, enthusiasm, and a commitment to rehearsing for two full performances a year, with occasional guest performances as we build our repertoire.  The choir is based in Meole Village, Shrewsbury. 

Jill is a member of the Natural Voice Practitioners' Network, and follows the NVPN philosophy of the safe and effective use of the natural voice when teaching singing.  Jill specialises in building confidence in the use of your natural voice, and has a "liberating and supportive approach", and "cheerful leadership".
